This model with two breathing valves is unique because it offers you maximum protection and wearing comfort. The two valves expel the warm, humid air quickly. This keeps it inside the mask cool and dry. The exhalation resistance remains low, so you can continue to breathe comfortably. Furthermore, the ergonomic design, the soft and breathable materials, and the soft ear straps provide that extra comfort. That makes this model very suitable when you have to wear your face mask for long periods of time (e.g. all day).

Do you wear glasses? The two valves will give you extra wearing comfort, because your glasses won't fog up anymore (or at least much less). The warm air, which is responsible for fogging up the glasses, escapes quickly and easily through the front of the face mask. Your glasses remain clear and clean. Face masks without or with only one breathing valve, force the air to escape upwards, leading to contact with your cool glasses, which results in the fogged up glasses. Do you want to work out with a face mask? You will also benefit from the two valves, because of the low breathing resistance. Through the effort of exercising you will breathe deeper and heavier. The double breathing valves with their low exhalation resistance, helps reduce the hinder of wearing a face mask during exercise. Exercise is lighter and you sweat less than when wearing a face mask without breathing valves.

Please note: the exhaled air leaves your face mask unfiltered. If you want to protect yourself and your surroundings, please take a KandyMask without breathing valves. The wearing comfort of this model without valves is a bit lower than the model with breathing valves.

Our rule of thumb to choose the right size is based on body weight:

• Small: for kids between 20 and 35 kilograms
• Medium: for everyone between 36 and 75 kilograms
• Large: for everyone between 76 and 105 kilograms
• Extra Large: for everyone between 105 and 140 kilograms

✅ WASHABLE BY HAND WARM WATER AND SOAP 

We advise you to wash the outside and inside of your KandyMask by hand and warm water with soap, and then let it dry on a rack. Don't wet your KandyMask through and through with soapy water. Don't put your KandyMask in the washing machine or dryer either, as this will damage the polypropylene filter and your KandyMask will lose its superior filtration qualities.

The main reason that other masks can be washed in a washing machine is that they do not use advanced filter materials (and therefore do not have superior filtering properties such as a KandyMask face mask ).

✅ FILTER LIFE EXPECTANCY OF 6 - 12 MONTHS

We advise you to replace your KandyMask every 6 to 12 months, depending on how often you use it. The filter in your KandyMask will then have filtered so many particles from the air that the filter material begins to clog up and loses its superior filtering qualities. The good news is that all these particles are in the mask instead of in your lungs!
